                        Kiss the Cow Fundraiser

Several intrepid members of our Board of Directors have volunteered to sacrifice themselves in an effort to raise funds for the Chamber.  Don Cotogno, Mary Tricamo-Park, Chris Story, and Gail Forrest have said that for a price, at the annual Chamber meeting to be held on January 26, 2010, they would kiss a cow in front of all of you.

Yes, a bovine, a Holstien, a four-legged milk makin' critter.  You can have a significant part in this history making event.  Each of these fine individuals and a "Mystery Smoocher" have jars in the Visitor's Center.  Drop by and cast your vote in the form of dollars; by placing money in a jar you will be casting your vote for who gets to buss bossy.  This is one time where the phrase vote early and vote often is more than just a saying; you get to say who hugs the Hereford or gets the Guernsey.  The person with the most money in their jar wins the opportunity to pucker up with local live stock.

What does the loser get?  Just relief until the next time.  Who's the "Mystery Smoocher"?  Put money in the jar and find out on January 26.  "Votes" will be collected up to and during the annual meeting, with the "winner" announced at the end of the meeting when they get to meet their date for the afternoon.  If this goes well it could become an annual event.  All proceeds go to the Chamber General Fund.
