Th        7          Puttin’ on the Ritz 2009 Art and Adventure Auction    The Pratt Museum’s annual fund raiser. Silent auction, live auction, gourmet fare and entertainment. Supports the museum’s educational exhibits and programs. For more details call the Pratt at 235-8635.

We      14        Homer Health Fair  at Homer High School, sponsored by the Homer Rotary Club.  Call 235-6089

Germanfest!  5-9pm at the Homer Elks Lodge. Fun and food for the whole family. Brats and german fare, yodeling contest,live and silent auctions, live performances by Atz and Atz Lee Kilcher.  Advance tickets $8, $10 at the door, ages 5 and under free. Tickets available at Homer Bookstore, Homer High School and at all school events. Fundraiser for the Homer High School Choir Trip to Germany.

Mo       19        Bearfoot, acoustic bluegrass band from Anchorage, bring their unique sound ranging from traditional bluegrass to original jazzy compositions to Alice’s at 7pm.  $20 general admission, $15 HCOA member, $12 under 18 w/adult, $45 HCOA member family of 4. We      21        Kachemak Heritage Land Trust’s 8th Annual Auction & 20th Anniversary Celebration at Wasabi’s, 6-10pm. appetizers and tasty dessert nibbles! Bid on art, artifacts, and adventures!  Tickets: $50 per person.  Reserve your ticket by calling the land trust at 235-5263.  Preferred dress: What you wore when you were 20 and bring a photo for proof!
