Chamber Membership
Sections
The Homer Chamber of Commerce lists all of our
members in three published materials each year.
- Official Homer Visitor Guide:
published once per year. Typically available in
print by January. Only those members who have
renewed or joined by the fall deadline are
listed in the Visitor Guide in the areas as
noted below based on membership level.
- Homer Chamber Website:
www.homeralaska.org receives an average of over
6,000 monthly unique visitors. These are people
looking to see what Homer has to offer, and it
is your chance to tell them about your business.
All members are listed on the Chamber website
under their chosen or assigned category listing(s)
as designated below based on their membership
level. New members and changes to existing
member contact information are updated on the
website within 2 weeks of notification.
- Homer Chamber Membership Directory:
in-house directory listing all members under
their chosen or assign category listing(s) as
designated below based on their membership level. The
membership directory is updated at the beginning
of each month with new members and changes to
existing member contact information. The
directory is available in the Visitor
Information Center, at the Chamber, for download
on the Chamber website (available starting in
October, 2009) and via pdf from the
Executive Assistant.
Free Category Listing
- Primary Business & Primary Multiple
Business Members
will receive one free category listing of their
choice with membership. A free listing includes
company name, address (see address guidelines on
the application form) and up to 3 contacts (phone, fax,
email, website). This contact information will
be placed under the Free category listing in all
Homer Chamber published materials (Visitor
Guide, Membership Directory and Homer Chamber
website; exception: if member joins after
deadline has passed for the Visitor Guide).
Primary Business & Multiple Primary Business Members must choose their free listing from the
current year's official
Member Category Listing.
- Associate Business & Associate Multiple
Business Members
will receive one free category listing under
"Beyond Homer". A free listing includes company
name, address (either mailing or physical) and
up to 3 contacts (phone, fax, email, website).
This contact information will be placed under
the "Beyond Homer" category listing in all Homer
Chamber published materials (Visitor Guide,
Membership Directory and Homer Chamber website;
exception: if member joins after deadline
has passed for the Visitor Guide).
- Primary Individual, Honorary Members will receive one
free category listing under "Individual
Members". A free listing includes the first and
last name of the Chamber member only. This
contact information will be placed under the
"Individual Members" category listing in all
Homer Chamber published materials (Visitor
Guide, Membership Directory and Homer Chamber
website; exception: if member joins after
deadline has passed for the Visitor Guide).
Additional category listings may be purchased by
Primary Business & Primary Multiple Business Members in
categories which are reasonably related to the
member's business. Additional listings will be
displayed in the Membership Directory and on the
Homer Chamber website and include the same contact
information as shown for their Free Category
listing. (Additional Category Listings are not
displayed in the Visitor Guide due to limited
spacing.) Website Hotlinks, Brochure Distribution
and Availability Services are also available for
purchase separately for each additional category

Category Listings. Each additional listing
includes one free change per year to contact
information. Each additional change will
cost $10.00 per change. Change requests must be in
writing and accompanied with payment. All contact
information changes will be made within two weeks of
payment.
