Brochure Distribution Service
Chamber Membership
Sections
Display your brochures where thousands of
visitors have easy access to them!
The Chamber manages brochure distribution
Year-Round in the Visitor Information Center and at
the Homer Airport. This fee-based service is
available to Primary Business, Multiple Primary
Business, Associate Business and Multiple Associate
Business Members. An additional service included
with your Brochure Distribution fee is the Referral
Book program.
These books, grouped by category, are designed to
assist visitors in understanding your services. Each
participating business will have a two page spread
in the book of their category. These books are on
display at the Chamber Visitor Center.
One page is a standard form that you need to
complete, which gives more information about your
services. The second page is up to the member to design and
can be a photo page which illustrates your service
and any additional information you would like to
provide. The standard form will be sent to members upon
payment of the brochure fee.
Business Benefits
- Memorial Day to Labor Day the Visitor Center is
open and staffed 7 days a week with extended evening
hours with your brochures available to thousands of

lodging and dining) a second fee will be assessed.
Example: A lodge which also has a restaurant
may pay for two brochure distributions, one under
lodging and another under dining.
Fees
The fee for brochure distribution is $50 per
category listing for full membership year (October 1
to September 30)
Guidelines for brochure
distribution
- Chamber staff will maintain brochures in the Visitor
Information Center and at the Airport, notifying
members when they need to bring more brochures.
- In order to maximize you representation,
brochures need to be of a size that easily fits into
a standard rack card space - approximately 4" x 9".
- Information for the Referral Book needs to updated annually - staff will send a mailing to paid
members reminding them, and providing them with a
form for their convenience.
Guidelines for Literature
representing more than one Businesses
- For literature listing or describing multiple
businesses of separate ownership but having no paid
display advertising in it, all businesses
within the document must be Chamber members and each pay an
individual brochure distribution fee. The same fee for the
multiple business brochure
itself will also be assessed to one of the members
or the main organization. Each business is then
allowed a
space in the Visitor Information Center/Airport for
their individual business rack cards AND the
multiple business literature also receives space
in the Visitor Information Center/Airport.
(Airport space is only for Main Category
Listing, not for Additional Categories due to
space limitations.)
- For Visitor Guides, flyers or any literature in which ads are
sold, the hosting business or group must be a
Primary or Associate Business Member, more than 75% of the advertisers in
the guide must be Chamber Primary or Associate
Business members, the guide must be
open to all or any businesses and the guide must
have editorial content with information on visiting
the greater Homer area. The fee for visitor guides, flyers or any
literature with advertisements is $300 per
membership year.
- Out of town literature and guides will be
distributed at the staff's discretion.
